The FS-C8520MFP offers network printing, copying and scanning with optional faxing or network faxing. For faxing, there is a modem speed of 33.6, a three second transmission speed, maximum A3 original size, and MMR, JBIG, MH, and MR compression.

The printer is equipped with standard double-sided capacity. It has a maximum output speed of 20 A4 ppm and 10 A3 ppm for both mono and color copies.
